Ty Salvant is a New Orleans native, cradle Catholic and homeschooling mom. Additionally, she’s a soon-to-be published author, founder of “Time with Ty,” a lifestyle brand created to share her passion for marriage, education, family self-care and community with others. Ty relishes opportunities to contribute information, ideas and inspiration. Currently, her volunteer efforts include: chairperson of the Committee for Racial Equality and Justice in the Archdiocese of New Orleans, Junior League of New Orleans nominating chair, New Orleans Catholic Engaged Encounter district coordinator and blogging for NOLA Catholic Parenting. Previously, she was a research associate at LSU Health Sciences Center where she met her husband, Derrick. They’ve been married for 21 years and have six children ages 19, 17, 16, 13, 11 and 2. She enjoys going to the movies, reading, playing games and spending time with friends and family.
